Healthy and Delicious Dessert: 10 min. Grilled Peaches

Now I’m not sure you can really even call this a “recipe post” considering it’s basically a 2 step process but they’re so delicious and easy to make that I couldn’t not share. These grilled peaches perfect dessert to make when you are short on time and especially if you’re grilling your main meal already. These grilled peaches are so sweet and taste like summer should: sweet, sticky, and light.


All you need to do is cut your peaches in half, pit them and stick them on the grill face down. After about 5 minutes on medium, flip them over and top with cinnamon. Let them grill for another 5 minutes before taking off.

If you want to keep it light, just eat with the cinnamon and nutmeg. Otherwise you can add brown sugar, honey, vanilla ice-cream, brie, or I added a crushed up Triple Ginger Snap Cookie from Trader Joe’s.  The peaches will be soft enough to eat with a spoon and the peel with fall off in one piece.

 

Pretty easy, right? This is great if you’re trying to keep dessert lighter seeing as a medium peach has less than 60 calories.
